Canvas paintings . I’m revealing my latest acrylic painting, "Tangling Hues," a 12” x 16” study of quiet currents and whispered color beneath the surface. Two koi fish circle one another—one a deep orange, the other white with streaks of red—set against a bed of flat stones shifting through shades of purple, blue, brown, and green. Large green leaves hover above, like silent guardians of an unseen pond, their presence both grounding and mysterious. Encased in a dark wooden frame, the scene feels at once intimate and expansive, inviting you to lose yourself in the subtle dance of light, texture, and patience. This work explores the fragile balance of nature’s hidden symphonies—the way movement and stillness coexist. Creating it demanded a careful interplay of layered color and form, challenging me to capture fleeting moments that hint at something just beyond clarity. With "Tangling Hues," I hope to evoke the timeless, enigmatic beauty beneath calm waters, where life unfolds quietly but with undeniable presence.
