Estimated -18th Century Antique Steamer Trunk

Antique Domed Steamer Trunk- purchased from a old estate sale about 20 yrs ago. It’s in pretty good condition compared to others I’ve seen online. Leather is crumbling on exterior of the trunk. You can still see a patern in some of the remaining leather. A perfect restoration project. With some light repairs, TLC and imagination, this could be still a functional piece of furniture. Not a common find. There is no key for the lock. The lock looks to be gold plated. The trunk has a lock with the inscription 'Eagle Cabinet Lock Co.' on it. Perfect for adding a vintage touch to your home decor! It's a unique piece with lots of character.
