Had the ultimate desire to turn this project car into the white E34 in the first picture (Stanceworks). First thing done upon acquiring the car was have it fully serviced by Lakeside Motors — an auto-shop specializing in classic BMWs (they don’t service any other brand). They made it road-worthy as road-worthy can be and they have full service and OEM parts records under my name. The heavy-lifting for aesthetically building this car has been dealt with: Brand new windshield to pass safety; Euro version of the fender has been shipped from a fellow E34 enthusiast from Calgary, and the other one from another enthusiast from Mississauga; Brand new Vogtland suspension to mimic the stance of the inspiration vehicle in the picture; Staggered M-Parallels coming from a hobbyist who owns a mint 7-series were bought, and wrapped around with brand-new low-profile tires; OEM mouldings bought from BMW Ajax (they have records of these as well, and I deal with a rep who’s been closely working with me on the restoration — no knock off parts used); High quality lip and Euro-plate garnish ready to be installed. I didn’t skimp on the body restoration for this — I went to Pro Color Collision, which specializes in hobby cars. Check them out in person at Howden Road to see the kinds of cars that they work on. Everything has been straightened out, and stripped to bare metal. There is no balance owing on the body work (contract price for body work and painting it Alpine White is 10K, and I’ve paid 5K so far. Some people will say that’s expensive — it is. Again, I didn’t want to skimp because I was planning to keep this car for myself. I really like the aesthetics of the E34 quad lamps). The car has zero rust and is ready for a paint job. Up to the new owner if he/she wants Pro Color to finish or they can freely find a cheaper shop to do the paint job. Reason for selling: I am moving back to my home country because of a family member’s health concern. I even have a business for sale in my listings if that interests you. While I don’t expect to recoup everything that I spent on this project car, a reasonable offer would be appreciated. No trades as I’m migrating indefinitely. Let me know of a number that you have in mind. I am sad to let this go, but the cost of taking this with me to where I’m migrating is astronomical. Thanks for looking. PS - I call her Frankie (she’s a Frankenstein of sorts, in a good way).
