Sure, it's available online, but not with the wonderful illustrations that are peppered throughout all three volumes. - The Silver Palate Good Times Cookbook ($10) Even more goodness, but now it's about entertaining. Same quirks, same (but different) flavours. - The New Basics ($10) Covers all the basics, but not in a way that could ever be described as basic. Encyclopedic and yet very personal, with lots of great information about ingredients and techniques throughout. Or get the full set for $25! I have multiple copies of each, so you are free to pick the ones you like best. They're not brand new and mint, but they are in very good used condition. Pickup near Oakwood and Vaughan.
