Fibrous Malachite Specimen from The Democratic Republic of Congo, Haut-Katanga Province, Kolowezi District. Malachite is a copper carbonate which naturally forms in a karst environment and is most recognized as polished pieces in rings and necklaces etc. This type however is reserved for the advanced collector. The chatoyant velvet crystalline lattice reflects light in a wondrous fashion and the vibrant green crystal is absolutely captivating. This piece is 90mm x 75mm Pick up is North East Edmonton any weekday after 1pm daily. Weekend pick ups can be arranged prior to that weekend. I do not hold any items without payment in full and a set date and time scheduled for pick up. Otherwise everything I have listed for sale currently is FCFS. Price listed is firm.
