Never used used. I did pour water in it once to demonstrate that it sings. She decided to potty train herself on the big toilet like her sister. I got the identical one, back in the day and it was very popular with my oldest. The realistic yet whimsical look familiarizes the child with a real toilet that includes a flush handle with a click, a retractable toilet paper roll holder and a fully functioning seat with lid. Toddlers are rewarded with phrases and a sing-along training song for "contributions". There are 2 stages of use. The full potty on the floor for the beginner with an easy clean bucket. The seat and lid comes off and snaps onto the adult seat to help transition to the 'big' potty
